Daniela Doina Cioboată, PhD, Eng. is the head of the Mechatronic of Intelligent Measurements Laboratory – MMI 2 at the National Institute of Research and Development in Mechatronics and Measurement Technique – INCDMTM Bucharest. She received her PhD degree in mechatronic engineering from ¨Politehnica¨ University of Bucharest, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, in 2013.
Her research activities are focused on: mechatronic measurement technologies; mechatronic equipment and systems for the automotive industry; monitoring and vibro-acoustic diagnostics of machine tools, motors, pumps; control of dynamic processes in real time; industrial automation. She is a former reviewer of scientific manuscripts for the ‘’Mechatronics’’ Journal that used to be included in the Elsevier Editorial System (EES).
She is an author, or a co-author of two books and more than 45 scientific papers, published in the Proceedings of National and International Conferences and International Journals.
She has implemented and coordinated over 35 research projects funded by National and European funds. She has also participated in several privately-funded research and development projects, for companies in the automation and automotive sectors.

José Machado received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering – Automation, from University of Minho, Portugal (and, in simultaneous, from Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, France) in 2006.
He is Assistant Professor at Mechanical Engineering department of University of Minho. He has authored, or co-authored, more than 150 refereed journal and conference proceeding papers. He has coordinated – and participated as collaborator – in several Research Projects on Mechatronics and Automation domains and his main interests are related with mechatronic design, design of medical devices and design and analysis of dependable controllers for obtaining dependable mechatronic systems. He is a member of IEEE and a member of IFAC. |

Pierluigi Rea got in 2002 the Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, at the same university he got the Ph.D. Degree in Civil and Mechanical Engineering in 2007. In 2014, he got the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in the field of Mechanics of Machines. He has been Professor by Contract at the University “Guglielmo Marconi” in Rome for the course of Bioengineering for the years from 2008 to 2011. From 2010 to 2013 he has been Assistant Professor by contract at the University of Cassino for the Mechanical Design disciplines. Since 2002 he participated at several public and private research projects, with leaders of companies in automation and automotive sectors. From 2007 to 2010 he has been Assistant Researcher at the University of Cassino for the development of research activity regarding the Design and Experimentation of electro-pneumatic servo-systems for the actuation of robotic devices. Currently, he is Assistant Researcher for the courses of Mechanics of Machines, Design of Mechanisms, Mechanics of Actuation and Fluid Automation. His research interests regard topics on Mechatronics and Mechanical Design, Analysis and Synthesis of Mechanisms, Robotics and Fluid Automation. Professor Adrian Olaru has graduated from ¨Politehnica¨ University of Bucharest, Faculty of Machines and Manufacturing Systems, Romania.
From 1974 to 1990 he worked as a designing engineer with “Optica Romana” Enterprise, also being an associate assistant at the Faculty of Machine-Building Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest. In 1990, he became an appointed lecturer at the Faculty of Technological Systems Engineering and Management, in the Machine-Tools Department. Currently, since 1998 he has been a full professor and he teaches the following courses: Industrial Robots Dynamics, LabVIEW application in modelling and simulation of the dynamic behaviour of robots, servosystems and components, analyse and syntheses of electrohydraulic servosystems for industrial robots, personal and social robots and vibration of the virtual prototypes of industrial robots. He has been a doctor since 1989. |

He was established Mechatronic Engineering Department in 2005, Kayseri, Turkey. He is head of the Mechatronic Engineering Department. He is lecturing the control theory, robotics, neural network applications in engineering at Erciyes University, Turkey. Yevgen Tsegelnyk is an Associate Professor at the Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies of the O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv (Ukraine). He received his Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (Ukraine) in 2010. He has more than 15 years of international experience in research and development. He had an international traineeship as Post Doctorate at the Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic) in 2014. His research interests cover innovation technologies, including the methods of manufacturing for the digital industry, processing with intense energy fluxes (technologies using plasma, laser, and detonation sources), additive and subtractive manufacturing technologies, and applied computing techniques.

Rochdi El Abdi is a professor with the University of Rennes 1 (Institute of Physics, Rennes1 University- Department of Mechanics & Glasses). He is specialized in the structure behaviour analysis, in fracture fatigue, damage and mechanical engineering. His current research interests include analysis of numerical methods, finite-element methods, boundary integrals, non-linear damage modelling and experimental optical fiber analysis. Another field of his research is concerned with low and medium electrical levels and has covered arc parameters and contact resistance and used in the telecommunication and automobile fields.

He is author and co-author of more than 100 refereed journals and conference proceedings papers concerning rheological and tribological analysis of metallic materials and solid polymers undergoing important local thermo-mechanical gradients based on mesoscopic and multi-scale numerical approaches. He is an active member of editorial board for three international journals concerning materials science, applied mechanics and numerical modelling. Prof. Mihai Avram is a professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics of University «Politehnica» of Bucharest. Since his graduation in 1981, he has been running several teaching and research activities. Aurel – Mihail Țîţu is a Professor at the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu (ULBS), the Faculty of Engineering, the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, and a PhD supervisor at the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest in the Fundamental Field of Engineering Sciences, and in the PhD Supervision Field of ENGINEERING and MANAGEMENT, and he is a co-founder of this field at the “Politehnica” University of Bucharest along with two other fellow professors. He has gone through all the stages in his didactic training, from the very position of a Tutor (1995), to the top position of a Professor (2007).
